  1. I quit I think 30 pages into Matched. It was just so very boring and uninteresting to me. The MC had no real motivation to question the government she was raised to believe in. It was like the author was trying to force the story along.

    • I completely agree with you! I remember reading the first book and thinking maybe it’s just bad because it’s the first book in the series. I was so wrong. I started the second book and the first chapter was so stupid and awful I made my decision right there and then to not continue on with the series.

  2. I gave up on Matched too. Just didn’t seem plausible… I finished the first one,but that it. I’ve seen Vampire academy on a few lists too.
