2019 Stats (So Far) // Blogmas #2

Hello and welcome back to Blogmas Day #2! 🙂 Today I will be talking about my stats so far for 2019.

So first stats that are up, pages. So far this year I have read the 3rd most amount of pages since I first started tracking my reading in 2012. When I first came into this year and started my new (and current) job, I didn’t know how much time I would have for reading. I ended up having more time than I thought I would and I exceeded my goal of 24 books.

2019 Page Count

Next up I have the shortest and longest books. I read Pete the Cat: Five Little Pumpkins. This was not only the shortest book I have read this year but possibly the worst. And the complete opposite for the longest book. Obsidio was one of my favorite reads and a great wrap up to the trilogy. The average length of pages per book is down from previous years since I have been reading more children’s, graphic novels, and comic books. 2019-page.jpg

Last but not least the most and least popular books I read this year. It does not surprise me that a Rick Riordan book would make the most popular list, but sad to see an Archie comic is the least popular. Which maybe explains why they haven’t released any more Archie comics in that series. And the average rating and highest rated on Goodreads also does not surprise me for 2019. Looking back so far I’ve had an amazing reading year compared to others.

Check back in 2020 for updated stats and wrap-ups for 2019! What is your longest and shortest books of 2019 so far? I’ll check back in tomorrow with a brand new topic and post!

The Summer Book Tag

I created a tag back in the good old summer of 2014 (HOLY MOLY that was 5 years ago… I can’t believe how fast time has gone). And I recently have been trying to do it every summer now. So this year I did it once again! Here’s The Summer Book Tag!

Questions for The Summer Book Tag:

What book cover makes you think of summer?

What book has brightened your day?

Find a book cover with Yellow on it.

What is your favorite summer beach read?

What action book had you running for the ice cream man?

(Sunburn) What book has left you with a bad and/or painful ending?

(Sunset) What book gave you the happiest feelings when it ended?

What book cover reminds you of a sunset?

What is one book or series you hope to read this summer?

Chipotle Book Tag

If you would ask me what are my favorite things in life I would be able to answer that question in a heartbeat! Chipotle and books. So since I love these two items so much and talk about them consistently my mind had this amazing idea the other night. Let’s combine Chipotle and books and make a book tag about it. And ladies and gentlemen that is what I did!

Here are the questions to the tag. Feel free to add or subtract questions based on your Chipotle order. Don’t forget to hit the subscribe button since I’m so close to 1,400 subscribers and I will be doing a holiday giveaway soon!

“Words, I think, are such unpredictable creatures.

No gun, no sword, no army or king will ever be more powerful than a sentence.
