Every year I film a video where I make a TBR pile for books I need to read that year. This mainly includes popular titles that I haven’t gotten to or titles I have been putting off for far too long.
Some popular titles I include in this video are…
A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Aurora Rising by Amir Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken
Do you have a yearly TBR list, plan out monthly, or just on the fly?
Oops… it’s been a while. I didn’t realize the last time I posted on the blog was back in October of 2020 (BIG YIKES). However, I am back again! The end of 2020 was alright, but 2021 hasn’t been as kind. I quit my extremely toxic job and completely changed career fields in the meantime. Hopefully this brings back my love for reading instead of being sad and constantly burnt out all the time. To catch you up to speed here’s my 2021 Reading Goals. Don’t worry in two months you will see an update with the Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag haha.
I hope you enjoy all the videos and bookish goodness I’m about to catch you up on! 🙂 Cheers bookish friends!
Spooky fall season is here! It’s so weird to think that October is just right around the corner. It seemed like time in March and April just stood still and we would never get to the fall, but here we are! I have plenty of spooky reading plans I want to accomplish this month so let’s get into it!
Things I hope and want to accomplish in October include…
Read 3 new releases
Read 5 books
Read at least 1 spooky book
I also have a general TBR that I have listed below. These books were mentioned on my Fall TBR post. 6 books were published between August and now so I’m hoping to catch up on them this month. I did put an X over One Year at Ellsmere, Warren the 13th and the All Seeing Eye, and When I Arrived at the Castle because I have finished those already.
Read 3 New Releases
There are so many great books being released in the month of October and I want to purchase and read them all!
Read 5 Books
I don’t have any specific books for this task, I just want to complete it. The cons to being a mood reader.
Read 2 Spooky Books
Vampironica: New Blood
And hopefully finish The Haunted by Danielle Vega
I’m excited for cold weather, sweaters, and autumn trips to the bookstore this month. I have a *hopeful* feeling that I will get a lot more reading done this month now that I’ve settled into a new job and a new apartment! Cheers to October 2020!
